Q&A: Why is texting so important to a developing relationship with a girl?

Question by Roxas: Why is texting so important to a developing relationship with a girl?
It’s a pain in the ass, but I have to do it in order to try to develop a relationship with a girl. Why do I have to do this? I’d rather call because I do better in a conversation when talking, but now thats socially un acceptable in high school. Btw how often do you text a girl? What would I talk about? Is it a good idea to text them if we ha a good day together but her team lost states?

  1. because girls like to talk… a lot. your gram got long letters, your mom talked on a land line with an impossibly long cord and you my friend will have to text endlessly if you want to get any.

  2. It is a pain in the ass that people have to text rather than a phone call or just talking in person, but you gotta do what you gotta do right?
Girls (most) love texting, texting is less awkward while trying to get to know someone i think thats why everyone prefers it over a phone conversation.. You should text a girl all the time, not so much that you seem like you have no life and are a creep, but enough to show you’re thinking about her and enjoy talking.
Just ask how she is, what she likes to do, things like that.

  3. Texting can be used as a way to send a cute little message, something short and sweet, to let her know you are thinking of her. I text my boyfriend about things I do at work or just to ask him some silly question or to plan our bucket list of things we want to do (we have a list of movies we have been trying to watch). When he texts me, I start smiling like an idiot and get butterflies in my stomach. Normally he just calls me silly, but I really like it.
