Q&A: Can the cops trace someones phone number if it was given to them over a phone call?

Question by Billy thomas: Can the cops trace someones phone number if it was given to them over a phone call?
I’ve been texting this girl and we’ve been sexting but it turns out she lied about her age. Her sister saw a picture and if she were to call the cops and give them my phone number would they go through all the trouble of contacting the phone company and getting all of my information? Could they do anything if my number is under and adults name?

why would you send pictures to someone
you never met and don’t really know?!

do you play russian roulette at home as well?!

how about contacting her sister in person
and pleading with her to erase the pictures,
because you were misled as to her age?!

that’s the simplest and most direct approach!

best wishes

  1. If she calls the cops the cops will look at her sister’s phone and see what’s there. If they believe a crime is committed, then they will trace your phone number, get copies of all your phone records, messages, texts, pictures, etc. Then they will come and arrest you.

If arrested ASK FOR A LAWYER and MAKE NO STATEMENTS. The lawyer might get it dismissed if the record shows you didn’t know her real age.

Sexting at any age is incredibly stupid and dangerous.
